Summary: During our stay in beautiful Beaufort, SC, we had the pleasure of staying at the Anchorage 1770 — a stunning historic waterfront inn full of Southern charm. From the sweeping gallery porches to the cozy rooms and breathtaking views of the bay, it was the perfect Lowcountry retreat. The complimentary breakfast is wonderful and made to order.

Summary: What a wonderful place to stay! Room was beautiful. Bed super comfy. Owners were lovely! So friendly!!! Loved the cookies at turn down. Morning breakfast was delish. Rooftop and porch were lovely and relaxing. Loved the view of the marina, water and sunset. Downtown Beaufort was one block away. Can’t say enough positive things!!!

Summary: Beautiful property, great breakfast and friendly staff. Location is excellent to walk the bay front and shopping areas in Beaufort. Parking was convenient. Enjoyed the honor bar and beautiful views from the top floor balcony.

Summary: The restaurant at the Anchorage 1770 has excellent food with seating on the patio. We made the mistake of not specifying outdoor seating when we made the dinner reservation. The hotel is beautiful and walkable within the historic district.

Summary: Amazing hotel with very friendly staff. The breakfast was amazing and included. If I had one suggestion it would be to wipe down the furniture on the porches on 2nd floor they never were cleaned during the 3 nights we stayed there.
